J. Fromm Painting selected to adorn Steven Kent Wine
Steven Kent Winery in Livermore California selected my painting, Still Life with Wine, for their November 2012 Collector's Circle release of their Grenache wine. The wine, also titled Still Life with Wine, is a blend of three separate vintages of Grenache from the Ghielmetti Estate Vineyard. Only 142 cases, were made exclusively for members of the Collector's Circle.
I attended the release party, which was very fun, and the wine was delicious!

Jeannette Fromm received an Award of Merit in the California State Fair’s Fine Art Competition 2012, for her oil painting titled Barnyard Favorite. The annual art competition is considered one of California’s oldest and most prestigious juried art shows. California artists over the age of 18 compete for cash awards, trophies and ribbons. This year there were over 1300 entries. Approximately 200 artworks were selected for the exhibition, in a variety of media including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and photography. The show was held at the Cal Expo Center in Sacramento, CA. The show and exhibit space were quite impressive.

Helping the Cub Scouts earn their Art Badge
This was fun! After some discussion about careers in art, and where we see art in our daily lives, we had some fun with paint, clay, and craft. The kids were thrilled with the clay project. We NEED to give kids more art in schools! We all had a good time.

Portrait Painting Favorite
This was one of my favorite portraits to paint. It began with a photo-shoot. From about 150 photos I chose three photos, one of each child that somewhat reflected their individual personalities. My goal was to capture the feeling of their personalities in a comfortable and believable setting. I was very happy with the results, and my client was thrilled!
